“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you”

Exploring myths and wonder tales brings back a sense of magic into our lives. and also gives us guidance in moving forward into the future. I use stories as routes in to a deeper and more enlivened sense of connection; to ourselves,  each other, and the more than human world that supports and surrounds us.
Drawing on many years experience as an art therapist and psychotherapist, I offer individual therapy and coaching sessions, and group workshops.

Here is a comment from a participant at one of my workshops:

“It was a delight to discover with Sarah how captivating even the simplest stories can be, when told with clarity, conviction and wit. She prepared us for telling stories ourselves, showing us how to structure the material, to make the memorising easier, and gave us simple exercises to develop our skill. Despite my performance anxiety, actually telling a story to an attentive audience in an open courtyard, by moonlight, was an wonderful experience, in the literal sense of the word – partaking in a timeless tradition. The biggest surprise was to discover how deeply the story I worked on had affected me personally – releasing a joyful, creative energy. Much recommended.” LS
